Ethylene glycol is known to result in significant developmental problems for your baby inside womb. Expectant mothers should make sure to use only the paints with safer ingredients or rather completely avoid paints during pregnancy.
Similarly, paint-thinners that are used to dilute paints before applying them on any objects are also known to emit fumes that have not been tested for safety on developing baby & expectant mothers. They may cause allergic reactions or irritate your skin.
Thus, you should either use water-based paint thinners or take the help of your partner to assist you in performing this task.
